Every three years, the ELCA sponsors an event called The ELCA Youth Gathering. The gathering is a sponsored mission for youth across the country, in their teenage years, to have the chance to travel to a major American city and perform community service and witness for their faith. Now, as one can imagine, this event is a rather epic undertaking and giving the incredible planning and logistics required, is only done every three years with most recent done from July 15-19 2015.
Christ the King was fortunate to have three teenagers this time around who attended The Gathering:
